Ashanti Shequoiya, better popularly known as Ashanti, is an incredibly well-known American actress and singer. She is an American singer-songwriter and actor. The talent of Ashanti was discovered in her teens. The singer signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. The same year, she was featured on The Fat Joe's What's Luv? The track "What's Love?" by Fat Joe and Ja Rule, entitled Always on Time was a huge hit for both of them. In the year she debuted her debut single"What's Luv which ranked at the second spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and Foolish at number one featuring Foolish as her debut single, she became the only female to achieve this feat.
