Annet Mahendru
Mahendru's parents were a Russian as well as a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. She choreographed an 11-year-old show that resulted in an German TV appearance as the Russian Snow Maiden, who turns into a jovial Indian dancer. She finished high school with a degree in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. After school she took acting classes at the HB studio but the left to study improvisation with the Groundlings School taking on several comedy shows afterward. Her parents were the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father from Kabul in Afghanistan. The couple divorced at the age of 13 old and she was moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. Her most well-known role is the ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She has had a recurring role in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
